INDUSTRY PROHIBITED FROM BUSINESS INVESTMENT ACCORDING TO THE LATEST REGULATIONS

According to the latest regulations of the Investment Law 2020 effective from January 1, 2021, the list of industries banned from business investment has been added as follows:

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 6. Prohibited business and investment sectors of the Investment Law 2020 are as follows:

• Trading in narcotics specified in Appendix I of this Law;
• Trading in chemicals and minerals specified in Appendix II of this Law;
• Trading in specimens of wild plants and animals originating from the wild as prescribed in Appendix I of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Plants and Animals; Specimens of endangered, precious and rare species of forest plants, animals and aquatic animals in Group I originating from natural exploitation specified in Appendix III of this Law;
• Prostitution business;
• Buying and selling humans, tissues, corpses, body parts, human fetuses;
• Business activities related to human cloning;
• Business of firecrackers;
• Debt collection service business.
